Colour-Ways: Light Works by Liz West

21st March to 7th June 2020

Colour-ways: Lights Works by Liz West is an exhibition featuring site specific light installations, photographs and working sketches for large scale sculptural work.

Liz West creates vivid environments that mix luminous colour and radiant light. Working across a variety of mediums, West aims to provoke a heightened sensory awareness in the viewer through her works. She is interested in exploring the impact these different environments have on us as individuals; how we feel, react and perceive colour are core to her work.

Colour-ways is a touring exhibition originally conceived by The Civic, Barnsley.

The exhibition, in The Wilson’s second floor gallery, features three key light installations, Our Spectral Vision, Tempo and Shifting Luminosity.

Tickets priced £5 (£3 for concessions) will be on sale soon.
