With increasing research and media commentary on mental wellness, and the impact and cost of stress in the workplace, the need for Emotionally Intelligent Leadership is growing. We are emotional beings, and the British culture which leans towards the ‘stiff upper lip’ and leaving your personal problems at home, is no longer conducive to getting the best out of your people.

In this interactive workshop Vicky will explore what Emotional Intelligence is, what makes a leader Emotionally Intelligent and how that then cascades down through the organisation.  You will leave with a new insight into the area of Emotional Intelligence and strategies that can be put into use straight away, both on a personal and professional level, including how an organisation can support leaders to develop EI.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Vicky Henderson, Ascend Performance Coaching

Ascend founder, Vicky Henderson, is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Coach and a Time Line Therapy™ Master Practitioner. She achieved the status of Success Coach within the Tolson Institute in March 2019, one of only 5 in the world. Vicky recently qualified as a Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England.

With over 20 years’ experience in a variety of industries, spanning several continents; in SME, hospitality, training and teaching and self-employment, Vicky is passionate about working with leaders and teams to make the workplace a supportive, understanding, productive and most of all rewarding place to be. Since founding Ascend Performance Coaching in 2017 Vicky has worked with a growing portfolio of clients including, self-funded employees, sole traders, directors and senior management in SME’s, and teams at a major London University.
