The Royal Hop Pole is right in the centre of town where parking on the roads is 'free' until 10 am.

 

 

 

This month we will take a tour of the newly restored Cross House Tavern.

The Cross House Tavern is a micro pub which offers customers real ale straight from the barrel sourced from within 20 miles of Tewkesbury.

It is situated on Tolsey Lane at the junction of Church Street and The High Street. The ground floor has been restored from a pile of rubble and rubbish to similar to what it would have been some 200 years ago.

For decades more and more layers of plaster and wallcoverings were added including a false ceiling which covered up most of the Tudor and Victorian Heritage. These coverings were stripped out to reveal the original Victorian tiles and Tudor Oak beams.

Come along and enjoy an informal breakfast. We have built in some extra time for meeting and greeting, plus you will get the chance to tell everyone about you and your business.
