Hymnus Paradisi was first performed at the Gloucester Three Choirs Festival of 1950. The work is set in six movements that combine the texts of psalms, the Latin mass and other sacred texts.

This will be a friendly, informal session led by one of the UK’s most renowned choral conductors who studied under Howell’s at the Royal College of Music. If you’re a keen singer (you don’t have to be a member of GCS) come along, warm up those vocal chords and join in.

Tickets: £10 at the door (includes music hire and refreshments) Under 25’s free.
