Cirencester Youth Market

Cirencester

Wednesday 18th March 2020

10.30 am - 14.30 pm

Venue: The Market Place, Cirencester GL7 2NZ

The successful Cirencester Youth Market returns to the town’s Market Place for its fourth year. The event is organised by Cirencester Town Council and the E4 Group, which aims to inspire and support the enterprising young people within Cirencester and is made up of the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester College, Deer Park School and Kingshill School.

The Market will showcase the town’s young entrepreneurs and provide a fun-filled day with live performances.

The Market provides a strong platform to either test business ideas or to sharpen sales and merchandising techniques and aims to inspire young people to set up their own business, giving local enterprise students and young entrepreneurs the opportunity to sell their products, which they themselves have made and designed. Some of the businesses will be asking customers for feedback on their products to aid development.

Among those present will be entrepreneurial students and graduates from the Royal Agricultural University, as well as the University’s own social enterprise projects Cotswold Hills dry white wine and Muddy Wellies ale.

The Youth Market is open for all traders and business start ups under the age of 30 years and within the Cotswold Region.

For trading opportunities, please contact markets@cirencester.gov.uk.  Closing date 1st March 2020.
