The North Cotswold Local Studies Centre is for anyone who wants to know about past and present life in this area.

The Centre can be used at any time when Stow-on-the-Wold library is open.

Group visits outside library opening hours may be arranged.

Although the collection is for use only in the library, a selection of local studies books is available for loan.

It is helpful to contact the library in advance of your visit so that staff can advise you.

Some local studies materials are on microfiche/film;
Advance booking of readers/printer is advisable;
Coin-operated photocopier can be used within copyright restrictions.

We are always pleased to be offered donations of local items.
