Mummy & Me Yoga


4 Week Course starting Thursday 21st November and ending Thursday 12th December 2019

This FEDANT accredited postnatal yoga course is designed to ‘reset’ your body after the birth. Nothing can match the elation of bringing a baby into this world, but this joy can often be accompanied by aches and pains, exhaustion and emotional volatility, which is no surprise given what the body is put through during pregnancy.

My postnatal yoga course is taught in a supportive, relaxed environment. The poses will accelerate your recovery and ease you back to peak condition in a safe and gentle way. Classes are open to all new mums and their babies over the age of 6 weeks. Your little one will be with you throughout, giving the two of you precious bonding time in a safe and nurturing environment.

Each week you'll learn a sequences that will rebuild your strength, improve your posture and awareness and provide appropriate core strengthening exercises. You'll learn a little each week about what your body has gone through with a view to improving muscle tone and stability to the abdomen, back and pelvic floor. There is also an emphasis on opening up and releasing tension from the shoulders, chest and upper body—an area that is often tight from so much feeding and carrying in the first few months.
