For our traditional Midsummer outing, we are making an afternoon visit to Bridewell Organic Gardens near Witney. Bridewell is not just a lovely garden that's been managed organically for over twenty years, but is a charity that supports mental health by both the presence of being in the garden and opportunities to get hands-on experience.

Late morning we'll be meeting at the atmospheric ruins of Minster Lovell Hall on the banks of the Windrush for a picnic lunch.
We will have a tour of the gardens and vineyard that will tell us about the organic practices and the work of the charity in transforming people's lives. Entry is by donation (£5 suggested). The gardens are only open to the public three afternoons this year.

There will also be produce, plants, preserves and Bridewell wine for sale and the attractions of tea and cake.

This picks up on a number of threads from our previous talk about astrology and healthcare, and we will have several themed charts to chat about.

The gardens are at a lovely peaceful location in the Oxfordshire countryside about an hour's drive from Cheltenham.
