Bizet's Carmen is brought to you by Italian opera company Villa in Canto in Aid of Macmillan Cancer Research.

Carmen is a passionate story of love and death featuring the greatest femminist in operatic history, a woman who wants to be free at any cost. Featuring some of the most famous tunes in the operatic repertoire, prepare for a dazzling evening of high emotion.

 

Villa inCanto's intimate production reduces the opera down to an hour of mucic interspersed with musical and plot explanations by the Maestro. Accessible even to first time opera goers, this fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Research, curated by the Macmillan Cirencester Committee, is an evening not to be missed.
