DO YOU KNOW WHAT’S IN YOUR CLEANING PRODUCTS?

We assume they are safe. But in fact, many popular household cleaners are dangerously toxic. Things like phthalates, which are found in many frangraced household products, have been shown to interfere with hormone systems. Triclosan, found in most antibacterial soaps and handwashes, can promote the growth of antibiotic resistant bacteria by wiping out all healthy bacteria too. It also makes its way into rivers and streams, where it is toxic to algae. Chemicals like chlorine and ammonia are powerful irritants.

So, what are the alternatives?

Join us for an eco chemistry lesson and take home your own natural, eco-friendly surface cleaner and toilet cleaning bombs. All the ingredients and equipment (including a glass spray bottle and ice cube tray) will be provided and available for you to take home to continue to make your own products for a fraction of the price of the big branded cleaners.
All the ingredients are safe for children and animals.
We’ve been using these eco alternatives for months are can definitely vouch for their effectiveness and low cost.

As always, tea/coffee and homemade cake are included (just dont mix up your potions with your caffeine fix! They are edible, but we wouldn’t recommend it!)
