This beginner's workshop ideal if you are new to email marketing and are looking at sending customised emails to your customers or team members.

Because Mailchimp is a free tool (there is also a paid option) it is an ideal platform for sole traders, small businesses and those with large network marketing teams to use. It’s versatile and scales with you as you grow.

In this interactive workshop you will learn to:

Use MailChimp with confidence
Understand the dashboard
Create an opt-in subscriber audience (formerly known as lists)
Import/add subscribers
Create and customise a sign-up form
Two-factor authentication
Understand the legal basis for marketing under GDPR
Understand Lists
Understand segments and tags
Learn how to keep your list fresh
Learn how to get a better open rate
Use templates
Create and customise your own templates/emails
Create your first email ready to send out
Understand the Mailchimp reports
Useful hints and tip
You will also receive a handout (by email after the workshop) covering some of the main topics we covered as well as a few we didn't.

Spaces are limited to 7 per workshop.

You will need to bring your laptop NOT a tablet

You will need to have created a MailChimp Account (instructions will be sent once you register)

Tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided.

There is a fantastic café on site also.
