In this Finance, Tax & Cashflow workshop you will gain an understanding of how to manage your cash flow effectively and keep on top of your incomings and outgoings, including templates that you can take away and implement into your business. This will ensure that you’ve got the right processes for money management in place from the beginning, saving you time, and saving you money.

When is the Finance, Tax & Cashflow workshop?
This online workshop is taking place on Wednesday 7th July, 10am-1pm.

This Finance, Tax & Cashflow workshop will help you understand:

Differences between sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
The taxes that apply to you and your business
Difference between profit and cash
How to manage your cash flow effectively using a basic cash flow spreadsheet
How to forecast your business finances
Why paying yourself first is really important to do from the start.

Who’s delivering this Finance workshop?
Lesley Shelley is Director at Davies Business Consultancy Limited. Lesley worked in the corporate world for over 15 years before setting up her practice, and so has industry experience in a wide range of industries which gives her a lot of tools to help businesses. Lesley is CIMA qualified, meaning she is a Chartered Management Accountant, and is currently planning to study her tax exams which will be another 4 years of training to add to her skills. She has been running her practice for over 6 years. Lesley aims to take the stress out of accounting and support you to grow your business, not only advising you of best practice, but supporting business growth, and all in a way that is easy to understand. From experiencing the process of setting up her own business, Lesley understands how it feels to be in your shoes, and knows the common pitfalls that business owners often face in managing their business finances.

Where is it held?
This is an online course, held on Zoom. Get ready by Downloading Zoom to your computer. You’ll get an email to register and then a link to join the meeting. This online course involves exciting discussion, interaction, and practical activities with others in your shoes.
