Resin is the perfect way to preserve treasured pieces of nature and making floral jewellery is on-trend and much sought after. Our Botanical Resin Jewellery class offers a bespoke opportunity for beginners looking to explore using resin to make beautiful botanical necklaces.

At our Cotswold studio we will show you how to work safely with our non-toxic, BPA-free resins as well as introducing different techniques for adding resin to jewellery. After a short demonstration by our resin experts, you will be hands-on with our resin and pigments, learning how to:

Measure, mix and add colour to your resin, ensuring you don't overpower delicate botanicals
Use colour theory to plan colours and processes accordingly
Embed dried flowers, berries and leaves
Explore opaque, transparent and metallic pigments along with our natural mica powder
Achieve a perfect finish, removing any bubbles that appear
Use tips, trade secrets and techniques
Make use of leftover resin.

From playing with contrast and complementary coloured backgrounds in jewellery bezels to clear casting floral pendants and earrings, resin gives you wonderful creative freedom. Use our handpicked and hand dried flowers, leaves and berries (most locally sourced) to create treasured keepsake jewellery for yourself, your friends and family or even to sell in your Etsy shop!

If you have any interesting botanicals at home you my like to discuss during the workshop such as dried flowers, herbs, sparkles and gems, then please do bring them with you. It is not always possible to use them, but discussion with such items may prove helpful especially with future planning of your new craft.

Your resin jewels will need to cure overnight and therefore will be posted to you after the workshop. With this in mind, you will be able to visit the Resin8 warehouse where you can view and purchase our vast range of pigments, powders, resins, embellishments, tools and more to take home with you.

Our Botanical Resin Jewellery workshop will leave with the confidence to create your own resin jewellery, backed up with the experience, tips and techniques that you will have learnt from our resin experts.
