Hatherley Park

Cheltenham

Hatherley Park is a charming ornamental park set in the residential area of Hatherley. This park boasts a lake, a new wildlife pond and seating carved out of trees that were felled a number of years ago.

Fine examples of mature trees line the main path providing a stunning array of colour in the Autumn.

The park has two children's play areas - a fenced area for infants and young children and another area opposite this designed for juniors and older children - plus an area for teenagers with a basketball post.
A junior football pitch and new changing rooms were recently installed.

Feeding the ducks is a very popular pastime at Hatherley and visitors may buy birdseed from either Tivoli Trading on Andover Road or from Newman and Bloodworth on Bath Road.

Hatherley Park has been successful in winning Green Flag Awards three times and the assistance of the Friends of Hatherley Park was, and is, invaluable.

Park entrances:

* Bournside Road - close to the junction with Hatherley Road
* Hatherley Court Road - opposite Westal Park.
