We have compiled a list of just some of the spooktacular events taking place around Gloucestershire this Halloween and Bonfire Night!
Dates: Friday 11 & Saturday 12, Friday 18 & Saturday 19 October and Half Term: Friday 25 October - Sunday 3 November - Halloween Light Trail - Slimbridge
When the sun goes down, a whole new world lights up at WWT Slimbridge.
This all new for 2024, Halloween Light Trail, will take you on a journey that’s every bit as amazing as the wildlife you’ll see during the day at WWT Slimbridge.
Dates: 25th October to 3rd November 2024 - Medieval Monster Trail - Sudeley Castle
Explore the castle grounds with a mythical Medieval trail and encounter friendly Medieval Monsters as you wonder.
Dates: Saturday 26th October 2024 - Aston Down Fireworks, Pyrotechnic Air Display & Bonfire
We’re excited to announce the return of our fireworks & bonfire night! This event will feature a helicopter pyrotechnic air display performance, followed by a fireworks display by our award winning pyrotechnic team.
Dates: Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November - Trick or Treat Potion Trail
The wilson art gallery and museum. Find and collect ingredients to make a magic potion, with tricks along the way. Add your potion to the magic cauldron at the end to claim a treat. Suitable for children ages three and above.
Dates: 26 October - 2 November, Daily, 10 - 5pm - The Great Scarecrow Hunt - Painswick Rococo Garden
Come along this half term and join in some scarecrow spotting fun! Local organisations and groups, as well as the Rococo Garden team, have been busy creating fantastic, scarecrow characters to hang out in our Garden – can you find them all and win a prize?

A night of spooky activities including quill writing, making invisible ink, designing a magic wand and making a potion. Plus ‘Into The Night’ returns for an exploration of nocturnal creatures. Tickets include access to the Trick or Treat Potion Trail. Suitable for children aged three and above.
