The annual charity bike ride, Pedal for Maggie’s, is back. Cycle 40 or 60 miles through the Cotswolds on Sunday 12th September, to raise money for people living with cancer, their friends and family.

Start and finish at Maggie’s in Cheltenham, cyclist will pedal out of town, into beautiful lanes and stunning scenery. There will be support at every turn by the Maggie’s team from registration, a clearly marked route (including Garmin links and a map) to celebrating the return.

Registration is £20 or £100 for a team of six and fundraising is optional. However, if anyone raises more than £150, they’ll get their hands on a free Maggie’s cycling jersey. People living with cancer need support now more than ever and by taking part in this event, people can make a real difference.

Nicola Peregrine, Centre Head at Maggie’s Cheltenham says: “Maggie’s is here to offer the best possible support, free of charge, to anyone with cancer and their families. We help people take back control when cancer turns life upside down, with professional and emotional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries. Fundraising events such as Pedal for Maggie's, enables us to continue to offer our unique programme of care supporting our centre visitors.”
Centre Fundraiser, Wayne Russell says “We want people to get on their bikes and Pedal for Maggie’s! Our fundraising income has been severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Our centre currently finds itself in high demand supporting people living with cancer, their families and friends in our local community and the surrounding counties. By taking part in this event, people really can make a difference.”

All funds raised through the £20 registration fee and optional fundraising will be used to help Maggie’s support people living with cancer and their families and friends. Participants can register online before the event at www.maggies.org/pedalformaggies; the ride kicks off 8am on Sunday, 12th September at the Maggie’s in Cheltenham Centre.
