Robins Community Trust ambassadors announced

Sean Long, Alfie May and Charlie Raglan have been selected as ambassadors for the Cheltenham Town Community Trust for the 2022/23 season.

All three players will lead as representatives in key areas of the Community Trust's work in the local community around Cheltenham and Gloucestershire.

Sean Long - Participation Ambassador
Long has been selected as the Community Trust sports participation ambassador for this season. In this role he will be encouraging the local community and all ages to get involved in being active and playing sport.

"I am very happy to be Cheltenham Town’s Ambassador for Sports Participation. I’m looking forward to supporting the Trust as much as I possibly can to help children in our local community get involved in sport as much as possible and adopt a healthy lifestyle," said Long.

Alfie May - Education Ambassador
In May's role, the forward will focus on promoting the importance of education for children involved in the Community Trust's programmes, as well as the potential rewards for working hard.

"It’s very important that children reap the benefits of sport, but also understand how a good education can really set them up for life in the future," said May.

"Hopefully, I can help youngsters in the local community and make them aware of how key education is to help them fulfil their dreams."

Charlie Raglan - Health Ambassador
Raglan will be promoting the need for a healthy, balanced diet to children on the Community Trust's programmes, as well as making them aware of the benefits of exercise.

"To become the Health Ambassador at Cheltenham Town once again is brilliant. I’m very happy to help the Robins raise awareness on issues related to health," said Raglan.
