Registration is OPEN for Cheltenham’s first plein air art competition.

Come and make art in the regency elegance of Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens.

Open to traditional (as opposed to digital) 2D artists of all ages media and styles, the criteria to get your work judged by our expert panel is that your entry is started and completed in the gardens on the day, within the time allotted, and is made in direct response to the surroundings.

As well as a £500 first prize and a £250 prize for the runner-up, we also have a £100 contemporary landscape painting prize as well as a youth prize for 14 - 18 year olds and have just finalised an illustration / drawing prize too.
