App-Fest will be returning as it welcomes some of the UK’s best-loved original artists and bands from the past 30 years, including Chesney Hawkes, The Hoosiers, Cast, Dodgy and Toploader, with a special appearance by X Factor star Matt Cardle,  who came runner-up to One Direction in 2010.

Joining them at the festival will be a host of well-known tribute acts including Bootleg Beatles and Bon Jovi UK, sharing the roster with South-West favourites The Wurzels and multi award-winning Celtic rock’n’roll group The Roving Crows.

The four-day festival will take place at Hillworth Farm in Longdon near Tewkesbury, a rural village nestled between the Cotswold and Malvern Hills near the M5/M50, offering ticket holders easy access.

Originally set up by founder Daniel Pardoe in 2008 under the original name Farmers Arms Apperley Festival, App-Fest has grown from its humble beginnings in the large garden of a pub where Daniel spent 10 years being landlord while hosting the  annual two-day sell-out event.

It was during the first year that locals suggested changing the name to App-Fest which saw the charity community festival being born, bringing together local communities and raising money for both local and national charities through music. Over  the years, the event has supported many good causes including Winston’s Wish, Cancer Research, Help For Heroes and Air Ambulance plus many others.

The 2019 move to the larger site was down to its increasing popularity and growing appeal, as well as Daniel’s tireless commitment in ensuring more could enjoy the event while it continued to benefit the local communities and charity partners.

Daniel said: “For 2022, we’ve added extra days and more bands so the App-Fest community will have something extra special to look forward to this summer. We’ve finalised an amazing line-up which offers unbelievable value for money. The new  venue will provide revellers with the space to soak up the atmosphere against a beautiful backdrop while they enjoy a brilliant four days of music and entertainment, with free camping. Whether you’re a local popping in or travelling from further away for a summer break, you’re in for a great time.

“It's been an extremely difficult couple of years for everyone because of COVID and we’re still living through difficult times, so it’s a cracking opportunity for people to come together while also helping raise much-needed funds for our charity  partners. It gives us all something positive to look forward to, so roll on summer!”

Early Bird, 4-Day passes with free camping are available at just £45 each but hurry, only 200 remain. Tickets can be purchased now at: https://www.app-fest.co.uk/
