In February 2014, large areas of Gloucestershire Worcestershire, Somerset and the Home Counties suffered extensive flooding over a number of weeks. The ground was waterlogged and the rain kept on falling. Coastal regions had exceptionally high tides that con-incided with storm surges and many towns in Cornwall and Devon were follded too.

Peter Newman has taken some exceptional photos of the Tewkesbury, which is deep under water from the River Severn.
