A MESSAGE FROM THE EVERYMAN THEATRE - launching new digital initiatives and keeping our spirits high.
We would like to take a moment to extend deep appreciation to our loyal customers with whom we have been in touch, and who have reached out to us. We are very disappointed to be in a temporary position where we are unable to welcome you to the theatre or our various Education and Community activities.
The support we have received from you is a great encouragement to our staff, and those of you who have offered donations or taken advantage of opportunities to exchange tickets in lieu of refunds can rest assured that we are putting those funds to good use.
We are working behind the scenes to reschedule events that have been postponed, prepare the shows that we will be presenting later in the year and to engage with our amazing audiences (even if we’re unable to do so face to face).
As an organisation we are resilient, we are dedicated, and we will welcome the people of Gloucestershire back to this historic venue.
In the coming days we will be launching new digital initiatives to keep you and your families engaged, informed about theatre activities and hopefully entertained. We are also continuing to promote our future calendar of events which will take place when we inevitably and gratefully return to normal activity.
We fully understand that during this time more important events have overtaken the world and we would like to express our gratitude to the dedicated health professionals, and the essential workers who are doing their best to keep us safe during this crisis. We look forward to celebrating your efforts during more positive times.
While theatre and entertainment may seem a trivial concern during times of crisis we know the importance of keeping our spirits high and the part we can play to support that goal. Please stay safe, look after your loved ones and we look forward to welcoming you back to raise the curtain very soon.
Gloucestershire's biggest theatre which has been serving the county since 1891, offering a wide range of productions from musicals and comedies to dramas and ballet.
