DOB: 14/03/2019
Breed: Greyhound
Gender: Female

Dotty is one of our new greyhounds looking for her forever home, she would be comfortable with an older family where children are over the age of 14.

Dotty is a retired racing greyhound so has a very high prey drive and can become fixated on cats and small animals, due to this she would be unable to be rehomed with them and would need to be muzzled on walks as a safety precaution. Dotty could however live with another greyhound pending mixes at the shelter. Dotty and Lilly both came into our care at the same time and could be rehomed together if the right family came forward.

Due to her racing background, her history within a home is relatively unknown, we believe that she may have had limited contact indoors as she can become unsettled in the indoor environment. It will take time building up her confidence in the home, especially when being left.

As with all greyhound’s they love to zoom, so a secure garden would be essential for her wellbeing, Dotty also loves quiet walking areas and particularly enjoys playing and chasing toys.

If you would like to be considered for Dolly please email for an application form and information about our process.
