Top Ten Things To Do In May 2018
The warmer weather has finally arrived so why not celebrate and pick one of the fabulous events from our Top Ten for May.
1. Cotswold AONB Hare Trail 2018, Cotswolds
Festival Trail running with 60 large hares, 30 Springer hares and 40+ leverets in sites all around the Cotswolds AONB area.

3. Giffords Circus, My Beautiful Circus 2018 Tour at various venues around Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and London
My Beautiful Circus – who wouldn’t want to run away with the circus? Who doesn’t dream of travelling in a velvet-lined circus wagon, under the stars, circus music accompanying a life of freedom, family and art? This year Giffords Circus celebrates the birth of circus which happened near Westminster Bridge in London in 1768.

4. Lechlade Festival 2018
Music lovers can expect a stellar line-up across the three days and nights at this year’s Lechlade Festival, which takes place over the bank holiday weekend from 25th – 27th May.
5. Grandslam 2018: Steps & Blue, LCI Rail Stadium, Cheltenham Town FC
As part of their 20th Anniversary celebrations, iconic pop group Steps have announced a huge outdoor tour; GRANDSLAM 2018: SUMMER OF STEPS, which will see them perform at outdoor venues all over the UK, including a performance at the LCI Rail Stadium - home of Cheltenham Town
6. May Day Festival - Hawkwood's Open Day - 70th Anniversary! Stroud
A fun day out for all the family. As well as live music- this year featuring the Dodo Street Band, bbq, bar, ice-cream and children's activities, including face painting, storytelling and maypole dancing we offer some free taster workshops and stalls from local suppliers and tutors from the Hawkwood programme.
7. The Mayor's Well Fit (Morning), Sandford Parks Lido, Cheltenham
FINAL fundraising event as Mayor of Cheltenham, held in support of the Mayor of Cheltenham’s Charity Appeal 2017-18 (Reg Charity No. 1118165) raising funds for the Hollie Gazzard Trust and the Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals Charity’s Focus Fund.
The Mayor's Well Fit (Morning) at Sandford Parks Lido is a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, old and new, whilst trying new health and wellbeing activities.
8. Swing Jive Dance Classes, Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre
Learn to Jive Dance at The Goods Shed whatever your skill or ability you cannot put a foot wrong. Sarah and Jim from Just Jive will be running Swing Jive lessons for beginners or those with some experience.
