The Employment Minister, Mims Davies MP, will record a message of encouragement to the county’s young for them to join the Lift Off, and will hold a virtual meeting with employers on the day.

The Apprenticeship Minister Gillian Keegan MP, herself a former apprentice, will be joining physically to share thoughts on the next steps for apprenticeships and to meet existing apprentices at local businesses and pupils and students interested.

Process on the day

Upon arrival, guests will be asked to show their ticket, which they should have booked online through the Glos Rugby website & then temperature taken through a non touch machine. Masks must be worn at all times throughout the building. Anyone who turns up on the day without registering, will be allocated to the next available session & required to complete an online medical registration form (via a QR Code), as part of track and trace, and have their temperature taken.

Signage directing guests to 1873 suite via one way system will be laid out. There will be 1 lift available, for use 1 person at a time, if required.

The 1873 suite to be used as the welcome area, to brief guests on procedure they will need to follow in thestadium in groups of 25 (with 4 members of staff & speaker present) for approx. 5mins.The required cleaning will take place before the next group are welcomed.

Guests will then be able to register on the app which business/organisation they would like to visit. Businesses will get an alert and will be able to invite up to 4 people to join them from this waiting list, while the others are seated in the seating stands (outdoor, whilst wearing a mask) to wait and will be directed via the one way system & stewards. Businesses can invite another guest that is waiting each time a place becomes available in the room (max 2 members of staff from organisation & 4 guests in any box at one time.)

This will run on a rotational basis and there will be plenty of stewards & staff scattered around the stadium signposting & directing guests.
