Gloucester
'The Cosy Club' with Greg Bottrill
Please note the date of this course has changed to 9th March (from the original advertised date of 9th February)
Course Aim: This course will introduce you to the wonderful 'Cosy Club', a sprinkle of extra magic over Phase 1 phonics created by Greg Bottrill, author of Can I Go And Play Now? and School And The Magic Of Children. With over 100 songs, rhymes, games and 'pop-ups' discover a fresh way of showing children that language is a playground and that phonics is something truly magical.
Course Information: Cosy Club is rooted in Greg's approach 'Adventure Island'. It is hot off the press and whoever joins in the training will be amongst the first in the UK to discover its possibilities. Greg will talk you through the pedagogy behind Cosy Club and show how phonics is not something to be 'done to' children, but something to be immersed in with them. After the session, participants will be able to download the Cosy Club PDF pack to explore with their team and will for the time being, be the only way to access its content. You will also be able to access a discount code for a year's subscription to the Adventure Island magazine that supports Cosy Club into the home.
