This exhibition brings us two artists with unique styles tied together by a common theme. Robert Jones’ lifelong home county of Cornwall has been a huge influence on his work, he has explored a great deal of the coast and its surrounding landscape. He is also an accomplished author, his latest book researching the life and work of artist Alfred Wallis is an update on his 2001 published work.
Chris Hardman also has Cornish connections and although now Gloucestershire based, his works are very much reflections of his time there. Mainly working in watercolour and oil, his work has a really distinct feel.
Alongside the painters, we have works by Graham Ikin, Derek Elliott, Loco Glass, Toff Milway and Colin Chetwood all members of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen.
