Cyanotype for Beginners – Creative Printmaking Workshop
Discover the magic of sun printing!

Join artist and workshop host Lisa for a hands-on introduction to cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic printing techniques, first developed by Sir John Herschel in 1842. This non-toxic process uses UV light to create striking cyan-blue prints – a beautiful blend of science and art.

In this friendly and relaxed session, you’ll learn how to:
Mix and apply light-sensitive chemicals
Create stunning botanical prints using the photogram technique
Experiment with double exposures and creative layering
Print on a variety of papers and textures

You’ll leave with a collection of your own cyanotype artworks and the skills to continue creating at home. Cyanotype kits will also be available to purchase on the day if you'd like to keep experimenting!

Cake and coffee included
All materials provided
No experience necessary – perfect for complete beginners
