Cheltenham

Dates: 6th May and 7th May 2023

Coronation Community Celebration

Join us at Pittville Pump Room and park for Cheltenham’s largest two-day celebration for the coronation of King Charles lll, with live music, choirs, film screenings, children’s activities and a grand finale light display.

Community Coronation Celebration with The Cheltenham Trust

With the coronation taking place at Westminster Abbey at 11am on Saturday 6 May, we will be screening the entire historic event on our big screen in front of the pump room portico, where you can watch the new king being crowned with family and friends. There will be children’s activities to keep youngsters happy, as well as live music and a film screening later in the day.

The celebrations continue on Sunday from 10am with our party in the park, with more live music, entertainment and activities for children. There will be a screening of the Sunday evening concert from Windsor Castle and a grand finale light display, illuminating the pump room. The day draws to a close at 10pm.

The Heritage Café will be open throughout the weekend, serving a range of hot and cold food and drinks.
