Moonlight Walk

Thank you to everyone for their understanding when our walk got postponed however we have now managed to get another date and look forward to seeing you there.

Warren Moore from Radio Gloucestershire will be there to start you all off on your way.

Last year’s 5 mile Moonlight Walk was an absolutely brilliant evening with such a fantastic atmosphere that we have been asked to make it an annual event. This year’s walk will be opened up to men too if they would like to come along ( a few men requested this last year and we are raising money so would hate to turn people away). The theme this year is Princesses and Super Hero’s.
The cost to take part is £10.

 

The event will raise money for Great Oaks who offer a range of services for adults with a serious illness that potentially may shorten their lives and is currently affecting their quality of life. Families are included in their care.
All of  their work is provided by experienced staff and aided by trained volunteers.
Great Oaks need £600,000 each year to fund their services, the NHS contributes a small amount and the rest is generated through their shops, fundraising events, grants, donations and legacies.
