This weekend we’ll focus on alleviating the pitta imbalance that can develop over the summer months.

Pitta is one of the constitutions (doshas) of Ayurvedic lifestyle. It is the combination of the elements of fire and water. All doshas affect our physical and mental body, the different stages of life, as well as the times of the days and the seasons of the year. We are a combination of all elements, all doshas, with some more prominent than others.

No matter your personal dosha, I’ll be guiding you through two yoga practices each day which will combine breathwork, bodywork and meditation aimed at pacifying the pitta dosha that can accumulate in all types during the summer season.

You’ll also be learning tools and techniques of self-care that you can use during these summer months,

From self-massage, through to advice on what’s great to eat to pacify excess Pitta. These techniques are useful in the summer as well as other times of year when you may have a pitta imbalance.
