An evening of Sublime Jazz Soul with Robin A Smith and Rob Luft

A stunning evening of Jazz/Soul with two UK musicians, who both started their careers and benefited from playing with the prestigious, National Jazz Youth Orchestra (NYJO).
Robin A Smith joined NYJO as an arranger, composer and pianist and went on to have a highly successful career working with some of the greatest artists and performers in the world.Robin always regards his time at NYJO as pivotal to his career successes.
He played and wrote for, Earth Wind and Fire, Gladys Night, Ramsey Lewis, George Benson, Grover Washington, The JB's, Goldie, and won the Ascap Award for Composition as well as the 2022 Grammy Nomination.
Rob Luft is an award-winning 29-year-old jazz guitarist from London whose virtuosity has been compared to that of six-string legends John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola & Paco De Lucia. He was the recipient of the 2016 Kenny Wheeler Prize from the Royal Academy of Music, and he received the 2nd Prize in the Montreux Jazz Guitar Competition at Montreux Jazz Festival. He was also nominated for a string of awards – Breakthrough Act in the Jazz FM Awards, Instrumentalist of the Year in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and in May 2019, Rob was selected as a BBC New Generation Jazz Artist.
