Welcome to an unconventional book/comedy night where there is absolutely NO required reading – unless you want to!

Most people are too busy for a traditional book club but everyone has a favourite book... Each month we’ll be sharing a variety of hilarious sets about all kinds of books (from classic works to obscure comics and from non-fiction to chic-lit).

Last month we covered all sorts of unexpected topics: Michael Tipper informed us about procrastination, John Halse talked us through his favourite autobiographies, Shirley Halse explored why we stop reading some books in the middle, Abi Sheridan spoke about the Book of Law, particularly regarding refugees, Meg Reid explained why Roman jokes are (not) funny, and Chloe Gorman highlighted the bed rep of step-mothers.
