Daylesford Discusses: Saving British Biodiversity: Virtual Event

We are delighted to announce details of our next Daylesford Discusses, to be held over Zoom on the evening of 8th March 2021.

Daylesford Discuss is a series of regular events we host throughout the year to create a friendly, open forum in which questions may be asked and knowledge shared. When possible, we host our panel and audience in our farmshops to discuss and debate a variety of issues close to our heart such as food, farming, sustainability and wellbeing.

While we miss the physical closeness of the traditional events, the virtual format does have its benefits, allowing people from all over the world to participate.

The topic on 8th March 2021 is “Saving British Biodiversity”, inspired by the way many people have reconnected and reengaged with nature and our local wildlife over the past year. The panel will discuss the importance of protecting British biodiversity, investing in nature and being mindful of the environment.

The discussion is likely to cover challenges, misconceptions, areas of concern and success stories along with practical tips on how people can make a difference in their everyday lives. We invite attendees to submit questions to the experts for a Q&A portion.

We are very excited to welcome the following experts to join the panel, hosted by our Environmental scientist at Daylesford Tim Field:

DATE: Monday 8th March 2021

TIMINGS: 7pm – 8pm

PRICE: Free to attend; please register your interest online and we will send you the video link and details of how to join.
