Sing For Earth Day 2021 Virtual Event


Join us for our celebration event on Earth Day with a wonderful array of guest artists contributing live music, songs, film, meditation and dance.

With inspirational speakers: Clare Dubois, visionary founder of Tree Sisters, Jojo Mehta, co-founder of Stop Ecocide Campaign and Skeena Rathor co-founder of Extinction Rebellion.

Supporting the Earth Protector Communities initiative and raising funds for TreeSisters radical reforestation.

Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking is partnering with Sing For Earth Day a locally based global initiative. A celebratory event after a fabulous Sing for Earth Day series 2021.

Claire Dubois, Jojo Mehta, Skeena Rathor, Anita Mahdia Daulne (Zap Mama), Carrie Tree, Helen Chadwick, Polina Shepherd, Jennifer John, Denise Rowe, Emily Roblyn, Fran Andre, Nagako Cooper, Camilo Menjura, Sophia Efthimiou, Asha Emma McArthy, Liz Terry, Misha Law, Daisy Burt and more.

Our presenters will be contributing songs, live music, poetry and movement in a combination of live performances and presentations plus several pre-recorded films – made especially for the event.

The line up of performers, artists, speakers and teachers offers a rich and diverse array of experience, from Russian Yiddish laments to Mbira music. All to move with, sing with and deepen into nature-connection. Several well-known composers and teachers will be sharing their songs both to listen to and join in with from your homes or places in nature.

The Sing For Earth team have been sharing participatory songs, meditations and movement practices during the weekly online series recently. Many of the songs and movement practices are available on our website. All to help support well being through honouring, reconnecting and tending nature.
