Let’s celebrate Filipino Heritage Month and International Nurses Day on Sunday, 11 May 2025, 12 to 5 PM, at the Kings Square, Gloucester.

Join us for a vibrant celebration honouring the incredible contributions of Filipino nurses and healthcare workers across the NHS, care homes, and private sectors—a tribute to their vital role in shaping the future of UK healthcare.

 

 

Bring your family and friends for an enjoyable afternoon to experience the Philippines through food, music, and culture.

Enjoy delicious street food and traditional dishes, dance to the rhythms of Original Pilipino Music, and experience the beauty of Filipino traditions through live performances, crafts, and cultural displays.

Whether you’re reconnecting with your heritage or exploring something new, everyone is welcome to experience the heart and soul of the Philippines right here in Gloucester.

Experience the Philippines through Food, Music, and Culture is organised by Filipino Association of Gloucestershire, supported by Gloucester City Council, Together Gloucester, and PPL PRS.

Sunday, 11 May 2025, 12 to 5 PM, at Kings Square, Gloucester, GL1 1RP

By Bus:
Kings Square is just a short walk from the Gloucester Transport Hub.
Frequent buses stop nearby on Clarence Street and Station Road.
Main bus routes: 8, 10, 12, 94, and more.

By Train:
Gloucester Railway Station is a 5-minute walk to Kings Square.

By Car – Parking Nearby:

  • Kings Walk Car Park (GL1 1EA) – Closest to Kings Square.
    Sunday parking from £2.50 (up to 1 hour) to £4.00 (all day).
  • Hampden Way Car Park (GL1 1SX) – A short walk away.
    Free after 6 PM.
  • Station Road Car Park (GL1 1SZ) – Also nearby.
    Free after 6 PM.
