Sherlock Holmes gets a gloriously funny makeover in Hound of The Baskervilles

"This side-splitting parody of the Sherlock Holmes story turns a tale of terror on the desolate moors of Victorian England into a mile-a-minute comic romp."

When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on his estate, with a look of terror still etched on his face, and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the great detective Sherlock Holmes is summoned from Baker Street, with Dr Watson in tow, to unravel the mysteries surrounding his death, and investigate the ancient curse of the Hound of the Baskervilles.

Tickets now available for Sponsors, Members and Friends of The Barn. On sale to the public from 4th September!

Sherlock Holmes is coming to Cirencester!
"Think you know this most well-loved of Sherlock Holmes stories? Well, I bet you've never seen it done like this...

Prepare yourself for a breathless, side-splitting journey as our intrepid band of three (yes three!) talented performers take you on a perilous journey from the bustling streets of Victorian London to the misty and dangerous Devonshire moor." - Joseph O'Malley, Director

Rehearsals have begun for this gloriously funny makeover of the classic Sherlock tale! Written by John Nicholson and Steven Canny for the hit comedy team Peepolykus, this “wonderfully barking spoof” with a talented cast of three actors (Herb Cuanalo, Hywel Dowsell and Dominic Brewer) will have our audiences on the edge of their seats whilst crying with laughter!

Preview tickets from just £15* are only available until Saturday 27th October!

"Gasp in amazement and horror (but hopefully amazement) as you witness thrilling hansom cab chases, brutal fight scenes, a terrifying spectral hound...and a tango number.

Our performers will play every single character, both important and mildly inconsequential as we follow Sherlock and his trusty assistant Dr Watson on what will be their most fiendish case"

Tickets booked for 31st October include free entry to our post-show Tweed Night with Barrington Ayre, where there will be Sherlock themed cocktails, an opportunity to meet the cast, and a prize for the best tweed!
