It’s a HERBAL TAKEOVER !!!
For one day only, Cotswold Herb Centre are taking over The Engine (Silver Street, Dursley) for a day packed with workshops, drop in events, stalls and chat.
There’s something for everyone from testers, tasters, drop in activities and workshops.
Come along, bring your friends and family, join in the chat and activity. Put your senses to the test.
Taste – Touch – See – Smell - Hear
Laura Pardoe, Herbal Takeover organiser says:
“Using our senses enriches our world and makes for happy experiences. That’s why we’ve built this interactive day around testing and using our senses – all five of them!”
Dip in or Dive in
Book in for an hour-long workshop, drop in for a crafty make, or fly by for a few minutes to see, taste, touch, talk and listen with our interactive displays.
Workshops through the day include:
• herbal tea blending
• creating your own facial cleanser using plant seed oils
• learning about natural plant dyes
• how to choose and use essential oils
• and a singing workshop - including tips on how to use herbs to help your voice, and a few plants thrown in!
A Herb for Dursley
In the evening we’ll have micro-talks each proposing ‘A Herb for Dursley’, followed by the chance to cast your vote for the plant that makes the best emblem for our town and its story.

Cotswold Herb Centre is a community-led enterprise to promote the recognition, use and enjoyment of herbs. Based in Cam & Dursley we’re shining a light on the wealth of plants that naturally live in and around us and the many ways they can support our daily lives.
