MEDIEVAL LONGBOW DEMONSTRATION & LIFE IN THE MERCHANT’S HOUSE
Archers from the Walsingham Pilgrims will be demonstrating the deadly effectiveness of a medieval English longbow this summer. Watch how the arrows fly through the air and the impact on their targets, even on armour! Discover just how powerful an English war bow is and the sort of damage the various arrowheads can do.

Afterwards, head into our Medieval Merchant’s House to learn what life was like in Tewkesbury when the Battle was raging…
Saturday 13th July: 11.00am and 6.00pm
The demonstration and talk will last approximately 90 minutes with questions

Sunday 14th July: 12.30pm

The Merchant’s House will be open 11am to 4.30pm – drop in
