Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

We will be delivering the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) qualification on the following dates:

4 April, 6 April, 25 April, 26 April, 27 April
2 May, 3 May, 22 May, 23 May

The cost of this qualification is £85 per person.

All courses will take place at 4-6 Commercial Road, GL1 2EA

Emergency First Aid at Work
The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is suitable for people aged 16+ who might need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. For organisations whose first aid needs assessment has identified a requirement for someone to hold a current emergency first aid at work qualification this course meets those requirements.

As part of this course you will cover:

• Unresponsive and not breathing, including how to use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Unresponsive and breathing
• Having a seizure
• Choking
• Bleeding heavily
• Suffering from shock
• Burns
• Assessing a casualty
• Monitoring a casualty

The course is run over 1 day from 9am-5pm and is delivered indoors, in a classroom environment.  Learners are assessed by continuous observation, questioning, written and practical demonstrations during the day. Each learner will receive a First Aid booklet and training pack. The qualification is valid for 3 years.

This course meets the requirements specified by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
