Clarinettist Andy Hooley's HotClub Quartet at The Jazz Club, Cirencester

Cirencester

Dates: 18/02/2026

Like your jazz imbued with a distinctly 1930’s swing feel? Then this is for you…. For several years in the RAF, Andy Hooley held the chair of 'principal clarinettist' for the RAF’s central band - he went on to become principal saxophonist with the world renowned Squadronaires. Since joining ‘Civvy Street’ Andy has continued to impress with performances with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, The London Swing Orchestra, Will Young, Russell Watson and many other stars of the jazz, pop and rock worlds. He’ll be putting together an exciting show for us celebrating the great 1930s/40s swing era combined with Hot-Club favourites. This will be a brilliantly melodic and of course swinging show with Andy leading a crack band including gypsy jazz specialist guitarists Jez Cook and Andy Bowen plus bassist Paul Jefferies.
