Dobunni Poetry Festival

The Dobunni Poetry Festival is a brand-new three-day celebration of poetry in Stroud.

15th - 17th October, 2026.

Celebrating poets and publishers from the West/South West, the festival will be held at venues in and around the town, with something for everyone to enjoy. Featuring nationally renowned poets and local talent.

 

 

In this National Year of Reading, we are celebrating the transformative power of the written and spoken word, the local community and our sense of place in this historic landscape.

Join our three-day celebration of poetry, people and place.

The festival is a partnership between Dialect Writers Collective and Gloucestershire Poetry Society, with support from Stroud Arts Festival.
