An Evening With Jamie Reid

Martin Yates will be in the chair asking questions of Jamie Reid, well known author of A Licence to Print Money, Blown, Doped, MonsieurX, Victor Chandler Put Your Life On It, Bandit Country, Days Like These and the winner of the 2013 William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award.

 

A life-long betting and racing enthusiast Jamie has been a regular contributor to the FT supplement How To Spend It and has written for the Guardian and the Independent on Sunday, as well as a wide range of other magazines.

The Evening starts at 7.30 pm with a 10.00 pm ish finish; doors open at 7.00 pm. Cash bar. Club Raffle. Members free. Non-members £10 and are very welcome. Parking available in the forecourt of the Victory Club or on street.

One of the main aims of the Club is to make donations to various racing charities and at the end of the evening Jamie will be invited to nominate his choice from our list of supported charities for a donation to be made. Details of the racing charities we support can be found on our website.
