Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility outdoor theatre by The Pantaloons at Abergavenny Castle
Chepstow
14 August 2019
Time: 7pm

First up in Abergavenny Museum's summer season of outdoor theatre in the fabulous setting of Abergavenny Castle grounds this August, is Sense and Sensibility on Wednesday 14th at 7pm. This funny, fast-paced and faithful new adaptation for outdoor theatre by The Pantaloons of Jane Austen's much loved classic features live music, audience interaction, romance and heartbreak. Elinor Dashwood has a lot of good Sense. Her sister Marianne Dashwood has an excess of Sensibility. Together they make a snappy title for Jane Austen’s novel of scandals, scoundrels and severely sprained ankles. Eminently suitable for fans of all ages, it's getting great reviews from audiences all over the country. The Pantaloons gave their first performance at Abergavenny Castle last summer with Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, and went down a storm. Don't miss them this year.
