Re-Take That

Retake that

On arrival, the friendly staff welcomed our party and directed us towards the main bar in the hotel.

After a nice chilled glass of Prosecco, we were kindly shown to our seats in the Executive Suite. Circular tables were carefully placed around the venue to maximise viewing potential and create an atmosphere for a cosy and intimate gig.

The three-course dinner did not disappoint. It started with a delicious piping hot sweet red pepper and plum tomato soup, followed by spiced Singapore noodles or oven baked chicken breast, finishing with a lemon tart or chocolate cheesecake for pudding.

After teas and coffees, the band took the stage.

Being a Take That fan for more years than I care to remember, I was pleasantly surprised to find a band that performed, looked and even spoke like the real thing.

The band were keen for audience participation and their choice of upbeat songs meant the dance floor was always full.

Robbie made a confident appearance mid-set and sang classics such as Angels and Rock DJ.

For a fun-filled night, I highly recommend treating you and your friends to a tribute night at the Jury’s Inn Cheltenham.
