Rugby Dinner of the Year with Sir Bill Beaumont CBE DL

Gloucester

Thursday 22nd October 2020

Venue: Hatherley Manor Hotel, Down Hatherley Lane, Gloucester GL2 9QA

For the 5th in our "Rugby Dinner of the Year" series, we are delighted to bring you another rugby legend, Sir Bill Beaumont CBE DL.

Bill played 34 times for England, captaining them on 21 occasions. He famously led England to their first Grand Slam for 23 years in 1980. He also played on two British Lions tours winning 7 caps and was captain on their tour to South Africa.

After retiring, he appeared as one of the regular captains on the BBC's Question of Sport and later became one of rugby's greatest administrators after being appointed Chairman of the RFU in 2012. He went on to be appointed as Chairman of World Rugby, a position he still holds today.

If you love rugby, then this is a dinner you won't want to miss!
