2020 marks the 10th year of Cherries On A Cloud, Gloucestershire’s number one burlesque and cabaret event, specialising in bringing Gloucester’s live entertainment fans exciting acts from all around the world.

On Saturday 14th of March 2020, Cherries On A Cloud will be celebrating its 10th birthday with a high-class, high-energy event at the Walls Club in Barnwood, with a cast of fan-favourites who have graced our stage over the past decade.

What can you expect to find at a Cherries show? Variety, that’s for sure! Everything from traditional burlesque and cabaret, to “boylesque”, magicians, comedians, circus performers, sideshow acts and even saucy poets have crossed our stage. No two Cherries shows are the same but they all promise to delight, and you are guaranteed to see something unique.

As well as the incredible performances, we will also be hosting our popular “Heads and Tail” game in which you could win £50, and our best dressed competition sponsored by pin-up and boudoir photographer Betty Noir.

Tickets start from £14 for standard seating, or £75 for a VIP table of four which includes priority seating and a complimentary drink on arrival.

Performers:

Velma Von Bon Bon

Voted in the Top 50 burlesque performers in the world 2015 and 2016, and top 10 UK performers for the past 4 years running by readers of 21st Century Burlesque Magazine, Velma is a veritable Tour de Force in Neo-burlesque hilarity! Combining burlesque and circus skills, glamour and comedy, Velma's unique acts are guaranteed to raise a smile, several in fact, perhaps even the odd belly laugh. Who said sexy can't be funny at the same time?

Raven Noir

Raven Noir is an international, award winning, and deliciously dark performer. With her stunning costumes that mix classic Vegas showgirl with a hint of gothic elegance, Raven Noir has wowed audiences all over the world with her gracefully haunting, mesmerizing acts and has performed alongside burlesque LEGENDS such as Tempest Storm.

Betty Blue-Eyes

Winner of the British Crown at the World Burlesque Games 2016, Betty Blue Eyes has been creating tales of the unexpected for burlesque and cabaret audiences since 2009. She is a comedy cabaret chameleon with unique acts filled with curious characters, quirky storytelling and glamorous comedy. From the unexpected twist of her Reverse Strip, to the down right flamboyance of her signature award winning act Behind the Candel-a-bra (a homage to Las Vegas legend Liberace), Betty has a guise for any occasion.

Kitty Ribbons

Cherries On A Cloud producer and international burlesque performer, Kitty Ribbons has been the driving force behind the show since its inception in 2010 - and still manages to surprise her audiences with her endlessly creative routines. She also acts as a mentor to rising burlesque talent through Kitty Ribbons’s Burlesque Academy which has been running for 8 years, and graduates of the school will be performing a routine choreographed by Kitty.

Johnny O

International boylesque sensation Johnny O is one of the UK’s finest male performers.
With his fabulous routines and dazzling costumes, he tantalises audiences all over the UK and abroad with his eclectic mix of drama and comedy, from fan dance to pole dance to line dance, Johnny O is equal parts charming, camp and downright filthy!

Miss Em

Our hostess with the mostess for the evening is the divine Miss Em, a force to be reckoned with, who holds audiences in the palm of her hand, and can transport you back to the charm and chutzpa of golden age stars such as Judy Garland, Lucille Ball and Rita Hayworth.
