Thursday 28th October at 6.00pm

Venue: Holiday Inn Express, Cheltenham

Open to Members and non-Members

Whatever challenges your business is facing right now, there is one activity that is potentially a win-win.

While customers, both consumer and B2B, expect to deal with organisations that are adopting sustainable practices, they increasingly want to deal with businesses that also show support for their community.

How can your business attract more customers and motivate your people through community support and CSR?

A partnership with a charity is an ideal way to do this. The charity benefits and so do you. In fact, according to a Simply Business survey, a significant majority of small businesses who partnered in this way found it actually increased their profits. Highlighting it in publicity, social media and through your own people can build preference and make your business better known.

Let us help you find out more about how your business could benefit from such a worthwhile partnership at our next event, Doing Good is Good for Business, which takes place at the Holiday Inn Express, Cheltenham on Thursday 28th October at 6.00pm.  Please come along, network with other businesses and charities and hear from two organisations about how they have made it work for them.

Stuart Jessop, Regional General Manager of Spirax-Sarco will talk about how their CSR strategy and local charity partnerships have contributed to their huge success. While Cordell Ray MBE of CCP (Caring for Communities and People) will explain how ESV (Employer Supported Volunteering) benefits not just the causes but also the volunteers and ultimately, the business. It’s not just about the cash!

Holiday Inn Express is supporting this event by generously providing the venue, a drink and nibbles and we are asking for just £5 to cover our admin costs.
