A Festive Extravaganza for the Whole Family

 

 

Get ready to kick off the holiday season in style at The Brewery Quarter’s much-anticipated Christmas Launch Party on November 25th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. This year, we’ve prepared a spectacular celebration that promises fun, entertainment, and plenty of festive cheer for everyone.

Step into the enchanting world of Christmas as The Brewery Quarter in transformed into a winter wonderland. The festive launch party will feature a diverse lineup of local community groups and talented young bands, ensuring a day filled with live music and entertainment. Enjoy original pop and Christmas covers by two newcomer bands and singer songwriters; RIVES and Crispin, along with the ever-popular party band: The Mark Walby Band.

The star of the show, Santa Claus himself, will also be making several special appearances to spread joy and smiles among the little ones. Children of all ages can meet Father Christmas and share their wishes with the man in red.

The magic doesn’t stop there! Throughout the event, you can meet and interact with a variety of beloved costume characters, including Poppy and Branch from Trolls, as well as Chase, Marshall, and Ryder from Paw Patrol. The Gloucestershire Troopers will be there, bringing iconic Star Wars characters and raising funds for charity. Meanwhile, Little Dreamers will bring the magic of classic fairytale princesses to life. Circus performer and stilt walker Thomas Trilby will be dressed in his finest and spreading lots of jolly cheer.

The festivities continue with Lakeside Primary School’s Young Voices choir singing favourite Christmas hits and Love Cheltenham choir singing carols. Variations Dance Academy will perform hits from the musical Wicked, whilst the CoadyCrew’s award-winning elite team will be busting some moves on the dance floor! The event will be hosted by the hilarious and entertaining compere, Nick Marshall, offering visitors the chance to win prizes at several Brewery Quarter venues.

Expect snow showers, plenty of family fun, and a delightful atmosphere that will put you in the holiday spirit. And when hunger strikes, there are numerous dining options available before and after the event, so be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

But that’s not all! The Christmas Launch Party is just the beginning of a season of festive events happening every weekend at The Brewery Quarter. Father Christmas will return on December 2nd, 9th, and 16th, making appearances at various Brewery Quarter venues from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Kids will have the opportunity to meet him or other festive characters, whilst enjoying a game of bowling at Hollywood Bowl, having brunch at The Botanist, or when you indulge in ice cream treats at Creams Cafe, and much more.
