Gloucester Krampus Run

Gloucester

Dates: 05/12/2026

Venue: The Folk of Gloucester, 99-103 Westgate Street GL1 2PG

In collaboration with Steampunks of Gloucestershire, we’ve invited Europe’s most scary traditional Christmas characters to come and visit The Folk! Alongside plentiful Krampus antics, there will be market stalls, live music and even a Krampus play. The Folk of Gloucester cafe and bar will be serving delicious German sausages and strudel alongside a range of freshly-prepared lunches, cakes and hot and cold drinks. Bring the whole family for a free festive day out - but make sure to stay on your best behaviour when a Krampus is around!

SCHEDULE

Throughout the day from 11am - 5pm:
Alternative market stalls
Photo opportunities at the Krampus Grotty (like a grotto but scarier!)
Performances from The Krampus Krumpettes: the all-female Krampus drumming group

1pm: live music from Height of the Flood - a folk duo performing traditional and orignal songs of murder, magick and mystery
1:45pm: St. Nicholas' speech and the Krampus Play
2pm: live music from Alice Strange - the alternative / fantasy pop music artist known for cinematic storytelling, theatrical visuals and emotionally charged songs
3:30pm: parade starting at The Folk of Gloucester and processing around the city, returning at 4pm for photo opportunities

Entry is free with a small charge for live music.
