I Swear follows John Davidson, an aspiring footballer, as he starts secondary school in the 1980s, and begins to develop episodes of swearing and tics. Ostracised at school and at home; he struggles with a condition that few people are aware of. A hugely sympathetic and uplifting film, it gained a BAFTA for its leading actor Robert Aramayo.
